The Challenge:
Tactical medics and first responders needed a pack purpose-built for the realities of active shooter and mass casualty response — where every second of access time matters and disorganized gear can cost lives.

• Tourniquets, gloves, and hemorrhage control supplies needed to be instantly accessible, not buried

Leading the design team, we worked directly with SWAT professionals to understand exactly how they operate under pressure — and built the UCR Backpack around those real-world demands.

• Full clamshell opening with T-zip pullers for immediate complete compartment access
• Front quick-grab pull-down panel with integrated disposable glove pouch for instant deployment
• Four integrated low-profile TQ pouches on side panels for tourniquet accessibility
• Tear-away hook and loop internal pouches with customizable color snap ID system for instant gear identification
